The VLS LAW ACADEMIA congratulates all those candidates who appeared in the Highly Professionalised and Competitive Civil Judge Preliminary Examination on 24 November 2019.

The Preliminary Questions were –

  • Excellent
  • Widely Distributed
  • Well Structured
  • A Splendid Blend of Theory and Practice.
  • Good Number of Negative (Incorrect)
  • Indirect
  • Inferred
  • Hypothetical Questions were asked to Test and Select Candidates

  • Total Vacancies: 176
  • Candidates appeared: 7946
  • Candidate to be selected for the main examination: 1760 (approximately)

For the main examination from the preliminary, the competition is 1:4.5 (For every five candidates appeared in the preliminary examination one candidate would be selected to appear for the main examination). It is the lowest in competitive examinations, where it is normally the minimum of  1:100

Sincere and committed candidates will succeed.

Based on the nature and distribution of questions the following cut-off marks are expected (community-wise) after carefully considering the present trend in Civil Judge Competitive Examinations including the provision for negative marks.
